Challenge
Pittsburgh Technical Institute, a private two-year post-secondary school, sought a unique experience-oriented interactive and non-interactive solution to display student generated multi-media, interactive, and web-based projects, along with a mobile interactive teaching/presentation tool.
Solution
Designed, developed, and actualized twin freestanding 100” glass projection-based “digital display cases” to match existing architectural elements; engineered a non-interactive screen and a 100” multi-touch display; deployed an Interactive Mobile Display System (IMDS) for a variety of teaching/presentation uses both on and off site.
Result
Introduced one-of-a-kind projection screens and a mobile display system to students/staff as creative tools to display student generated visual content and interactive applications.
